Cleveland, OH– This morning, members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested a 16-year-old who was wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for aggravated vehicular homicide.

Memphis, TN – On August 22nd, 2023, U.S. Marshals captured a Memphis man in San Antonio, Texas who was wanted for First Degree Murder.

Concord, NH – The Concord Police Department (CPD) and U.S. Marshals Service – NH Joint Fugitive Task Force (JFTF) are pleased to announce the results of an operation focused on locating and apprehending individuals wanted by CPD for sex offender registration violations and offenses against children.

Cleveland, OH – This morning, members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested a 17-year-old and a 15-year-old juvenile, who were both wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for aggravated murder.

Cleveland, OH – This morning, members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Robert Bryson, 65 and Stafonze Robinson, 23. Bryson was wanted by the city of New York for 2nd degree manslaughter and Robinson was wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for aggravated murder.

Albuquerque, NM – On Wednesday, August 16, 2023, the Bureau of Indian Affairs-Missing and Murdered Unit, assisted by the New Mexico Attorney General’s Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Relatives Task Force, the BIA Law Enforcement Direct Service, other Tribal Law Enforcement agencies and the United States Marshals Service located and safely recovered two missing juvenil

Charleston, WV - The U.S. Marshals Southern District of West Virginia CUFFED Task Force and West Virginia State Police have just ended a two-week operation targeting non-complaint sex offenders in Kanawha, Wood, and Wirt counties, as well as surrounding areas.

Operation Blue & Gold Shield began August 7th and concluded on August 18, 2023. 

Jackson, TN – Today, the U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force in Jackson captured Cory Waldrop, 39, in a creek bed near Hornsby in Hardeman County, Tennessee.

Washington, DC –  A barricade situation between U.S. Marshals and a suspect wanted in the shooting of a Harris County Sheriff's deputy has resulted in two wounded U.S. Marshals and a Task Force Officer. 

New Haven, CT - The Connecticut U.S. Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force (CVFTF), working with Waterbury and Hartford police officers, this morning arrested a Waterbury murder suspect in Hartford.

Joshua Morales, 29, is a suspect in a July 16 murder at a Waterbury social club, where a 40-year-old man from Fredericksburg, Virginia, was shot to death. 

Memphis, TN – After an investigation by U.S. Marshals in West and East Tennessee, a man is in custody for the June shooting death of a 3-year-old child.

Christopher Smith, 33, of Memphis, was wanted by the Memphis Police Department for First Degree Murder, Criminal Attempt First Degree Murder, and related firearms offenses.

Akron, OH – This afternoon, members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Ian Belcher, 19. Belcher was wanted by the Akron Police Department for aggravated murder.

Rocky Ford, CO – A fugitive escapee wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Bent County Sheriff’s Office has been located deceased in rural Otero County, Colorado.

Scranton, PA – Today, United States Marshal William Pugh announced the arrest of Kenell Chisholm, a 34- year-old York man, wanted by the York Police Department for Attempted Homicide and by the United States Marshals Service for Supervised Release Violations.

Norfolk, VA – The U.S. Marshals Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force is requesting the public's assistance in locating a woman who is on the run from charges stemming from the shooting death of a child.

Cleveland, OH – This morning, members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Jordan Hicks, 19, Jaylon Hicks, 19, Darden Carter 18, and Joshua Ziegler, 20. Jordan and Jaylon Hicks were wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for aggravated murder.

Canton, OH – The U.S. Marshals led Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) in Canton, OH arrested Ashley Helmick (27) earlier today on charges of escape from the Canton Police Department, stemming from an incident that occurred at the Stark Regional Community Correction Center.

Washington, DC – The U.S. Marshals Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force is requesting the public’s assistance and offering up to $5,000 as a reward for information leading to the apprehension of a fugitive who escaped from the custody of the Virginia Department of Corrections on August 11, 2023.

Portland, ME – The U.S. Marshals Service - Maine Violent Offender Task Force and the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS), Western District of Texas’ Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, announce the arrest of Elliot Cordero Phylow, 30, in Brunswick, Maine on August 7, 2023.

Jackson, TN – On August 10, 2023, Jeraldo Ascencio Pacheco, 23, of Crockett County, TN, was captured at the Texas-Mexico border after an investigation by U.S. Marshals and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Pacheco was wanted by the Jackson Police Department (JPD) for two counts of Aggravated Assault and Especially Aggravated Robbery.
