The U.S. Marshals serves as the enforcement arm of the federal courts and is involved in virtually every federal law enforcement initiative.

    Columbus, OH –  Late last night, members of the U.S. Marshals led Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) arrested Eddie L. Winphrie, 42, in Columbus, Ohio. Winphrie was wanted by the Youngstown Police Department for murder and by the Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office for trafficking in fentanyl, aggravated drug trafficking, and cocaine trafficking.
