Marshals Make Second Arrest in Triple Shooting that Killed Innocent Woman

Philadelphia, PA - Investigators from the the U.S. Marshals Service Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crime Fugitive Task Force apprehended Zaire Manning, 21, at an apartment in the 6300 block of Greene Street.
Manning was wanted by the Philadelphia Police Department for a triple shooting that occurred April 7th, in the 5900 block of Market Street. The shooting left an innocent 20-year-old woman dead and two others injured. A warrant for murder and related charges was issued April 9th and assigned to the Marshals Task Force in Philadelphia.
Last evening, Marshals developed information Manning had changed his appearance and was hiding in an apartment in the Germantown section of Philadelphia. At 1:00pm this afternoon, the task force proceeded to an apartment building in the 6300 block of Greene Street. An apartment with ties to an associate of Manning was discovered and Manning was arrested without incident. He was then transported to Philadelphia Police Headquarters for processing.

The Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force is a team of law enforcement officers led by U.S. Marshals in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties. The task force’s objective is to seek out and arrest violent crime fugitives. Membership agencies include the Philadelphia Police Department, Pennsylvania State Parole Officers, Pennsylvania State Police, Pennsylvania Attorney General Agents, Chester Police Department, and Bucks County Sheriffs.
