Concord, NH – Yesterday, members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force in Portland, Oregon was able to locate and arrest, "Fugitive of the Week," Lamar Linwood Clark. Upon approach to the residence, Clark attempted to flee by jumping off a rear balcony and was taken into custody as he hit the ground.
Clark, 32 years-of-age, was last known to be live in and around Manchester, NH. Mr. Clark had been featured as the U.S. Marshals – New Hampshire "Fugitive of the Week" just yesterday, September 22nd. Clark was being sought on an outstanding Rockingham County (NH) Superior Court warrant for failing to appear on a charge of non-consensual dissemination of private sexual images. Information developed by the New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force through interviews and research led to Clark's location in Portland, Oregon. This information was relayed to our partners in Portland who were able to quickly act on it, which resulted in Clark's arrest.
As part of the search for Clark, he was featured as the "Fugitive of the Week" on September 22, 2021. This feature was aired on WTPL-FM, WNTK-FM, WTSN-FM, WEMJ-FM, The Union Leader, The Nashua Telegraph, The Patch, Manchester Information, the Manchester Ink Link, The Rochester & Lebanon Voice and prominently featured on the internet. Additionally, the "Fugitive of the Week" was distributed statewide to all law enforcement officers in New Hampshire.
After Clark's arrest, he was transported to the Multnomah County Detention Center, where he was held as a fugitive from justice on the outstanding arrest warrant issued out of the State of New Hampshire. Clark will most likely be ordered detained pending his return to Rockingham County to face these serious allegations.
U.S. Marshal Nick Willard said, "Even when fugitives flee completely to the other side of the country, the men and women of the US Marshals will track you down so you can face the criminal justice system."
