Philadelphia, PA – Members of the U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force arrested Glenn “Bless” Long, 28, for federal narcotics trafficking, at approximately 5:15 a.m. on July 14th in the 600 block of Darlington Road in Middletown Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Long was wanted for a September 2018 Drug Enforcement Agency indictment out of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania for conspiracy to distribute controlled substances. Long was also being sought for a March 2021 indictment by the District of New Jersey for conspiracy to distribute controlled substances. Additionally, Long was a Pennsylvania State Board of Probation and Parole fugitive since October 2018. The fugitive case was delegated to the U.S. Marshals Service in 2018 and was worked jointly with Special Agents of the DEA over the past 3 years.

On July 14th, Deputy Marshals from the U.S. Marshals Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crime Fugitive Task Force, Special Agents of the DEA, and members of the Pennsylvania State Police Special Emergency Response Team (SERT) executed a federal search warrant in Middletown Township, Delaware County. Information developed by federal agents suggested Long may be hiding out with an associate in the 600 block of Darlington Road. Upon the execution of the search warrant, Long was located by the Pennsylvania State Police Special Emergency Response Team (SERT) hiding in a closet. Long was then arrested without incident and transported to the Federal Detention Center in Philadelphia where he awaits his initial court appearance.

Eric Gartner, U.S. Marshal for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, said "We appreciate the opportunity to support the DEA in helping our community free itself of a dangerous fugitive wanted for multi-state drug distribution. Special thanks to the Pennsylvania State Police Special Emergency Response Team who played a critical role in ensuring this fugitive’s safe apprehension."

The Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force is a team of law enforcement officers led by U.S. Marshals in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties. The task force’s objective is to seek out and arrest violent crime fugitives.
