U.S. Marshals Arrest New Hampshire Man on Child Pornography Charges From Florida

Portland, ME – The U.S. Marshals Service, Maine Violent Offender Task Force announce the arrest of Michael A. Flippo, 55, of Lebanon, New Hampshire. Flippo was being sought by the Walkulla County Sheriff's Office out of Florida on a warrant issued by them on March 2nd, 2022, for Possession of Computer Child Pornography.
According to authorities, Flippo was previously arrested in August of 2020 in Florida on charges from Maine for possession of child pornography. From that original investigation, Florida issued a warrant charging Flippo with the additional crime.
Through a collaborative effort, Maine investigators determined that Flippo had been living and working in New Hampshire. U.S. Marshals were able to safely apprehend Flippo at an address in Milton without incident.
The U.S. Marshals Service Maine Violent Offender Task Force was assisted by the USMS New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force, U.S. Marshals Service Florida Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force, Strafford County, New Hampshire Sheriff's Office, and the Milton, New Hampshire Police Department. The U.S. Marshals Service Maine Violent Offender Task Force is comprised of members of the U.S. Marshals Service, Maine State Police, Maine Department of Corrections, Biddeford Police Department and U.S. Customs and Border Patrol.
