U.S. Marshals Assist in Recovery of Two Missing Children

For immediate release

Washington, DC - On May 19, 2026, a 14-year-old female and a 15-year-old male were reported missing from Temple, Georgia, by their father, Ben Brown. Both children were believed to be with their non-custodial mother, 44-year-old, Nadine Georgia Lindo. The children were entered into the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), and a felony warrant for Custodial Interference was issued for Nadine Lindo on June 2, 2026.

Information was developed that indicated the mother was possibly hiding in Jamaica with the two teens.

On May 11, 2026, the United States Marshals Service (USMS), Jamaica Foreign Field Office (JFFO) personnel were briefed on the case, and U.S. Marshals assistance was requested to locate and recover the missing children.

Authorities were able to obtain Lindo’s contact information, and she was interviewed telephonically and ultimately agreed to self-surrender to the U.S. Marshals.

On Sunday, May 24, 2026, Lindo was contacted, along with the two missing children who were in good spirits, at the Norman Manley International Airport in Jamaica. The FFO Marshals team escorted Lindo and the two victims to Atlanta, Georgia.
