U.S. Marshals Capture Massachusetts Fugitive Wanted for Triple Shooting

Boston, MA – The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) Districts of Massachusetts and Rhode Island announce the apprehension of a man alleged to be involved in a triple shooting in Worcester, Massachusetts. 

Worcester resident Xabiel Feliciano, now 30, was wanted in connection to a shooting on December 29, 2025, that left three (3) people injured in Worcester. Feliciano has since  been charged with two counts of Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, three  counts of Vandalizing Property, and one count each of Use of a Firearm during a Felony, Discharging a Firearm within 500 feet of a Dwelling, Carrying a Loaded Firearm Without a License, Carrying Ammunition without an FID (Firearms Identification Card), Disturbing the Peace, and Disorderly Conduct. 

Feliciano was arrested this morning in North Providence, Rhode Island as a result of a successful two-month Fugitive Investigation conducted by the USMS Massachusetts  Fugitive Task Force (MAFTF), the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section, the Worcester Police Department, the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force, the Rhode Island State Police, and the North Providence Police Department. 

The Worcester Police Department had previously requested assistance from the USMS  MAFTF with locating and apprehending Feliciano. 

“The successful apprehension of Feliciano demonstrates the effectiveness of our Fugitive Task Force partnerships,” said (A) U.S. Marshal Dennis Matulewicz for the District of Massachusetts. “Through close collaboration with the Worcester Police Department, the Massachusetts State Police, and our colleagues in Rhode Island, we were able to locate and arrest this fugitive wanted in connection with a triple shooting. This case underscores our commitment to pursuing violent offenders and ensuring they face justice.” 

U.S. Marshal Wing Chau for the District of Rhode Island said, “This is another powerful  example of local, state, and federal law enforcement working together to enhance public safety across jurisdictions.”
