U.S. Marshals Special Operations Group and Partner Agencies Arrest
Suspected Wife Murderer in Wooded Area in NW Minnesota

Minneapolis, MN – Eric Reinbold, 44, the primary suspect in the July 9 death of his wife in Oklee, Minnesota, was being sought by the U.S. Marshals Service, Pennington County and Red Lake County Sheriff's Offices and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension. He was captured yesterday morning by Deputy U.S. Marshals from the USMS Special Operations Group (SOG) and the District of Minnesota who arrested Reinbold without incident in a rural wooded area north of Oklee after a SOG tactical K9 alerted on his location.
Reinbold was wanted by U.S. Marshals on a federal warrant issued in July for violating the terms of his supervised release. He was also wanted on a homicide warrant in Pennington County after being accused of stabbing to death his wife Lissette Reinbold. His criminal record included possession of explosives and bomb making.
Deputy U.S. Marshals, along with SOG Deputy Marshals who joined the search for Reinbold on July 11, augmented a network of federal, state and local law enforcement officers.

We are thankful for the professionalism and dedication of every law enforcement officer who helped bring Reinbold to justice."
