On 8/6/20 Investigators with the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force based in Jackson, Tennessee were able to track Purdy to an address at the 300 block of McGee Loop Jackson, Tennessee. Purdy fled in a vehicle from Deputy Marshals and Task Force Officers. Purdy was pursued about a half-mile before stopping at the 100 block of Henderson Road. Purdy was removed from his vehicle and taken into custody with no further incident.

"I want to commend the work of the Deputy Marshals and Task Force Officers for doing their diligence in tracking down Purdy and taking him into custody. He is a dangerous individual who won't have the opportunity to put his poison on the streets of Jackson," said Marshal Miller.
