On May 24, 2025, at approximately 9:47 p.m., Boston Police officers responded to a shooting in the area of 38 Franklin Hill Avenue in Dorchester, Massachusetts. While no arrest can undo the tragic loss of two lives, we hope today’s apprehension brings some measure of comfort to the victims’ families and moves them one step closer to justice.”

The USMS MAFTF works collaboratively with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies throughout the Commonwealth to locate and apprehend fugitives wanted for violent crimes.

USMS MAFTF participants include the USMS District of Massachusetts, Massachusetts State Police, Boston Police, Brockton Police, Cambridge Police, Chicopee Police, Hampden County Sheriff’s Department, Haverhill Police, Lowell Police, Middlesex Sheriff’s Department, New Bedford Police, Plymouth County Sheriff's Department, Quincy Police, Randolph Police, Rochester Police, Springfield Police, Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department, West Springfield Police, Worcester Police, Massachusetts National Guard Counter Drug Program, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives, and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
