Lewisville, AR – On Thursday, June 25, 2026, the United States Marshals Service (USMS) Western District of Arkansas Fugitive Task Force arrested 62-year-old Terrance Blair of Texarkana, Arkansas. Blair was wanted by the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department for Failure to Appear on thirty-five counts of Possession of Firearms by Certain Person, three counts of Criminal Use of Prohibited Weapons-Bomb-Machine Gun-Firearm Adapted for Silent Discharge and Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.

This investigation had led law enforcement on an almost yearlong investigation to locate and apprehend Blair. This investigation came to an end when Texarkana Arkansas Police Department, Arkansas State Police, and the U.S. Marshals Service took Blair into custody in a wooded area just north of Lewisville, Arkansas on June 25, 2026.

U. S. Marshals Service task forces combine the efforts of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies to locate and arrest the most dangerous fugitives.  These task forces are dedicated to reducing violent crime by locating and apprehending wanted criminals. They also serve as the central point for agencies to share information on fugitive matters. In 2024, the U. S. Marshals arrested 74,222 fugitives, cleared 88,765 warrants, which averaged out to around 297 fugitives arrested per day in 2024 alone.
