U.S. Marshals Service Credentials

The United States Marshals Service (USMS) marked a key milestone in the integration of INTERPOL Washington U.S. National Central Bureau during a credentialing ceremony and employee orientation held February 5, 2026, in the Robert F. Morey Conference Center at USMS Headquarters. Director Gadyaces S. Serralta formally welcomed INTERPOL Washington personnel to the USMS and reinforced a shared mission to strengthen global law enforcement coordination in support of public safety at home and abroad.

Director Serralta led the ceremony and personally presented each new USMS employee their credentials. Associate Attorney General for Administration Jolene Ann Lauria, USMS Deputy Director Stephanie Creasy, and INTERPOL Washington Acting Director Daniel R. Vizzi also addressed the team and welcomed them to the nation’s oldest federal law enforcement agency.

Previously an independent law enforcement component of the U.S. Department of Justice, this historic realignment strengthens the U.S. government’s ability to combat transnational crime by uniting two globally recognized agencies under a unified operational mission. This integration significantly enhances the USMS’s ability to locate, identify, and apprehend international fugitives, ensuring that dangerous criminals find no safe harbor anywhere in the world.
