Denver, CO – The U.S. Marshals Service’s Colorado Violent Offender Task Force (COVOTF) in Grand Junction assisted the Glenwood Springs Police Department with the capture of a wanted fugitive in Powhatan, Virginia.

Portsmouth, VA – A multi-agency fugitive investigation spanning several states for a murder suspect from Portsmouth, Virginia came to an end this afternoon. Akea Faison, 33, was arrested in Jackson, Mississippi after 20 months on the run.

Norfolk, VA – On October 1, 2024, the United States Marshals Service (USMS) Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force (CARFTF), in coordination with the Norfolk Police Department and the USMS Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force (PNVOTF), located and safely arrested a woman wanted for child abduction.

Norfolk, VA – A multi-agency fugitive investigation spanning several states and lasting more than 10 months came to an end this Tuesday morning. Hampton Roads rapper Tashawnda “23 Brazy” Nicole Drayton was arrested in an apartment complex in Boykins, Virginia.

Hampton, VA – On February 14, 2024, Hampton Police responded to a restaurant on Coliseum Crossing in reference to a shooting inside the establishment. The victim, Travell Lavar Giles, was identified as an employee of the restaurant. Giles died due to injuries sustained during the shooting.

Hampton, VA – On November 22, 2023, Hampton Police responded to the 1000 Block of W. Mercury Boulevard in reference to a shooting in a fast-food restaurant. Upon arrival, Hampton Police located a juvenile male suffering from a single gunshot wound. The juvenile was transported to an area hospital and later pronounced deceased.

Norfolk, VA – The U.S. Marshals Service has increased the reward up to $20,000 for information that leads to the arrest of a Virginia woman wanted for the Aug. 9 murder of a 10-year-old boy in Franklin.
