    Memphis, TN – Today, May 27, 2025, was a productive day for the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force (TRVFTF) as they arrested two murder suspects wanted by the Memphis Police Department (MPD) in unrelated homicide cases. Alvin Justice, 27, was wanted for Second Degree Murder and Damarrius Mathis, 20, for First Degree Murder.

    Emily Sommer, 32, is alleged to have spat on Interim U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Edward R. Martin Jr. as he was conducting an interview outside of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Washington.

    During Operation Shake Down, conducted from May 5 -16, law enforcement officers also recovered 40 grams of methamphetamine, 1 oz of fentanyl, and five firearms.

    Mateo Juan Nicolas, 24, is alleged to have used force in the rape a minor in a vehicle April 25 in Greene County.
