U.S. Marshals Fugitive of the Week Arrested in Danbury, New Hampshire

Concord, NH – The United States Marshals Service is pleased to announce the arrest of this week's featured "Fugitives of the Week" in Danbury, New Hampshire.

This week's featured "Fugitive of the Week" was Marissa Rondeau, 25 years-of-age. Ms. Rondeau was wanted on multiple outstanding arrest warrants issued out of the Belknap and Grafton County Superior Courts, along with an additional warrant issued by the Hillsboro Police Department. These warrants allege offenses involving narcotics violations, assault with a deadly weapon (vehicle) and falsifying physical evidence. The task force had been developing information on this case for a couple of days which pointed investigators to a family members home on Partridge Lane in Danbury, New Hampshire. This morning, members of the US Marshals – New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force went to the address on Partridge Lane, where Rondeau was located and arrested without incident. Ms. Rondeau was transported to the Belknap County Jail for processing and holding pending her initial court appearances on her outstanding arrest warrants.

This arrest was made by several member agencies of the New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force including, the Belknap, Rockingham and Strafford County Sheriff's Offices, the Greenfield, Alexandria and Danbury Police Departments along with deputy US Marshals.

As stated above, Rondeau had been featured just this morning (11/25/2020) as the "Fugitive of the Week" which was aired on WTPL-FM, WMUR-TV, The Union Leader, The Nashua Telegraph, The Patch, Foster's Daily Democrat, Manchester Information, the Manchester Ink Link, the Rochester Voice and prominently featured on the internet. The "Fugitive of the Week" continues to be a very successful tool that has resulted in the location and arrest of numerous fugitives since its implementation in 2007. Additionally, the "Fugitive of the Week" was distributed statewide to all law enforcement officers in New Hampshire.

Since the inception of the U.S. Marshals - New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force in 2002, these partnerships have resulted in over 8,061 arrests (Updated as of 06/30/2020). These arrests have ranged in seriousness from murder, assault, unregistered sex offenders, probation and parole violations and numerous other serious offenses. Nationally the United States Marshals Service fugitive programs are carried out with local law enforcement in 94 district offices, 85 local fugitive task forces, 8 regional task forces, as well as a growing network of offices in foreign countries.
