Columbus, OH –  Late last night, members of the U.S. Marshals led Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) arrested Eddie L. Winphrie, 42, in Columbus, Ohio. Winphrie was wanted by the Youngstown Police Department for murder and by the Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office for trafficking in fentanyl, aggravated drug trafficking, and cocaine trafficking.

Cleveland, OH – Early yesterday, members of the U.S. Marshals led Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Devin Terrell Robinson, 22.  Robinson was wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for aggravated murder.

Cleveland, OH – Yesterday, late in the afternoon, U.S. Marshals in Guayanilla, Puerto Rico recovered a missing 4-year-old boy from North Olmsted. 

Cleveland, OH – Late last night, members of the U.S. Marshals Service in Puerto Rico arrested Robert ‘Bobby Champagne’ Serina, 45.  Serina was wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service and the FBI in the Northern District of Ohio for two open federal cases.

Akron, OH – Late this morning, members of the U.S. Marshals led Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Tion Green, 20. Green was wanted by police in Killeen, TX for murder.

Cleveland, OH – The U.S. Marshals newest investigative team has seen great success in their first month of operations.  The SPEAR Unit, Specialized Personnel for Enforcement, Apprehension and Recovery, has been working diligently on all cases encompassing their investigative areas, including sex offenders, missing children and cold cases. 

Akron, OH –  Yesterday, late in the afternoon, members of the U.S. Marshals led Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Kevante Jaimere White, 27.  White was wanted by authorities in Huntington, West Virginia for two counts of first-degree murder and one count of malicious or unlawful assault with a firearm.

Wheeling, WV – Late last night, members of the U.S. Marshals Mountain State Fugitive Task Force in Wheeling, West Virginia arrested Dennis Russell Nagle, 59. 

Cleveland, OH – Today, members of the U.S. Marshals led Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Joseph Harris Jr., 20.  Harris was wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for aggravated murder.

Glenmora, LA – This afternoon, the U.S. Marshals Service led Western District of Louisiana Monroe Fugitive Task Force arrested Daniel Bohatch, 40, who was wanted by the Ashtabula County Sheriff’s Office for 6 counts of rape, 3 counts of gross sexual imposition and 1 count of sexual battery. Those warrants were issued on October 11, 2018.

Youngstown, OH – This afternoon, during an attempted arrest of a fugitive, members of the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) were involved in an officer-involved shooting.

Akron, OH – Members of the U.S. Marshals led Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) have arrested Tristan Dent, 35.  Dent was wanted by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the U.S. Marshals Service for federal drug crimes.

Cleveland, OH – Yesterday, late in the afternoon members of the U.S. Marshals fugitive team in Miami, Florida arrested Craig Scanlon, 68.  Scanlon has been on the run for the past 18 years.

Toledo, OH – Late this morning, members of the U.S. Marshals led Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Duron Thomas, 34. Thomas was wanted by the Columbus Division of Police for murder and felonious assault.

Cleveland, OH – During the month of January, members of the U.S. Marshals led Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) concentrated their efforts in Cuyahoga County on fugitives wanted for failing to register as sex offenders.  

Cleveland, OH – This afternoon, members of the U.S. Marshals led Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Ron Christopher Hunter, 29.  Hunter was wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for murder in connection to the deadly Medusa Night Club shooting that took place on December 7, 2025.

Cleveland, OH – Today, members of the U.S. Marshals led Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Cortez Taylor, 28.  Taylor was wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for aggravated murder.

Cleveland, OH – Yesterday, members of the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Neftali Esquilin-Lebron, 24. Esquilin-Lebron was wanted by the Puerto Rico Police Bureau – Humacao Criminal Investigation Corps for murder.

Toledo, OH – The U.S. Marshals led Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) has arrested two suspects wanted in connection to a violent gang shooting in Michigan. Late in the afternoon yesterday, the task force arrested Montez White, 27. Additionally, two weeks ago on December 30, 2025, the task force arrested Tyrek Rice, 28.

Toledo, OH –   Late this morning, members of the U.S. Marshals led Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Marshaun Purley, 18.  Purley was wanted by the Toledo Police Department for murder and felonious assault.
