New Orleans, LA – Operation North Star, a nation-wide U.S. Marshals Service operation focused on violent crime reduction, was conducted in 10 cities (Chicago, Washington D.C., New York City, Memphis, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Houston, Indianapolis, Philadelphia, and Baltimore) over a 30-day period, spanning the month of June.

Los Angeles, CA – The U.S. Marshals Service has conducted a high-impact fugitive apprehension initiative focusing on the country’s most violent offenders in 10 cities.

This 30-day initiative, called Operation North Star (ONS), resulted in the arrest of 192 fugitives, gang members, sex offenders and violent criminals in the Los Angeles City area.

Indianapolis – The U.S. Marshals Service has conducted a high-impact fugitive apprehension initiative focusing on the country’s most violent offenders in 10 cities.

This 30-day initiative, called Operation North Star (ONS), resulted in the arrest of more than 60 fugitives, gang members, sex offenders and violent criminals in the Southern District of Indiana.

Chicago, IL – The U.S. Marshals Service has conducted a high-impact fugitive apprehension initiative focusing on the country’s most violent offenders in 10 cities.

This 30-day initiative, called Operation North Star (ONS), resulted in the arrest of more than 156 fugitives, gang members, sex offenders and violent criminals in the Northern District of Illinois.

This week, instructors from the Texas Department of Public Safety traveled to Memphis and provided instruction in “Interdiction for The Protection of Children”.

Cleveland, OH – Late this afternoon, members of the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF), along with the Cleveland Division of Police SWAT Team, arrested Sheldon Payne, 29.
