The U.S. Marshals serves as the enforcement arm of the federal courts and is involved in virtually every federal law enforcement initiative.

  • U.S. Marshals and Area Law Enforcement Capture First-Degree Murder Fugitive; Suspect Intentionally Rams Police Vehicle During Arrest

    Memphis, TN – U.S. Marshals, Memphis Department (MPD), and the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Teams captured Travon Marshall, 19, of Memphis, who was wanted for a deadly shooting that took place in the Frayser area of Memphis last month.

    Washington, DC – A multiagency operation launched in mid-April to combat cross-jurisdictional violence that negatively impacts the communities within the National Capital Region has resulted in the arrest of 264 fugitives and the recovery of 21 firearms, 5.7 kg narcotics, and $254,890 in illicit U.S. currency.

    Portland, ME – The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS), Maine Violent Offender Task Force (MVOTF) announces the arrest of Aziayh Scott, 23, of Hammond, Louisiana.

    Scott was arrested in New Orleans, Louisiana, on a warrant issued from the State of Maine, charging Scott with Manslaughter in connection with the death of a 22 month-old child back in May of 2024 in Maine.

  • NY Homicide Suspect Arrested in South Euclid by U.S. Marshals

    Cleveland, OH – Earlier this morning, members of the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Cesar Soto-Roman, 21.  Soto-Roman was wanted by authorities in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico as well Rochester, New York. 

  • $5,000 Reward Offered for Tips Leading to the Arrest of Man Charged in Shooting Death at Hampton Restaurant

    Hampton, VA – On February 14, 2024, Hampton Police responded to a restaurant on Coliseum Crossing in reference to a shooting inside the establishment. The victim, Travell Lavar Giles, was identified as an employee of the restaurant. Giles died due to injuries sustained during the shooting.

  • USMS Task Force Investigation Leads to Arrest of Fugitive on the Run Since 2000 in Fayetteville, NC

    Las Cruces, NM – The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) District of New Mexico (D/NM) Southwest Fugitive Team developed information on May 29, 2024, resulting in the arrest of a woman in Fayetteville, NC. Subject is wanted by the District of New Mexico stemming from an arrest in 1994 for Conspiracy to Distribute Methamphetamine.

    Cheyenne, WY – U.S. Marshals and Task Force Officers from the Wyoming Fugitive Task Force and members of the Evansville Police Department May 28 recovered a child kidnapped from Texas earlier this month.

    The recovery follows a May 17 request for assistance by the Abilene Police Department.

    Philadelphia, PA - Members of the U.S. Marshals Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force arrested Arthur Jones, 38, at a hotel in the 8800 block Tinicum Boulevard in Philadelphia. Jones was wanted by the Philadelphia Police Department for aggravated assault, robbery, and firearms possession, in relation to a May 12th incident in the 2100 block of Oxford Street.

De Tronne Marshall-Dennis was wanted by the Columbus Division of Police for allegedly shooting a victim.
