The U.S. Marshals serves as the enforcement arm of the federal courts and is involved in virtually every federal law enforcement initiative.

  • Tips Lead U.S. Marshals to 'Fugitive of the Week' Hiding in Attic

    Concord, NH – Once again, with the assistance of the public’s tips, the U.S. Marshals – New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force was able to track down and arrest another fugitive. "Fugitive of the Week," Brandon Lee Lanum, was arrested around noon today hiding inside the attic of a residence located on Wiswall Road in Durham, New Hampshire.

    Covington, TN – U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller announces the arrest of Davarious Taylor for first degree murder.

    On March 11, 2021 an Andrew Terry was shot to death in Covington. On March 12 a warrant for First Degree Murder was issued for Davarious Taylor for this crime. The fugitive case was adopted by the U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force.

    On March 31, in Dallas, Texas, a subject was killed by being pushed from a moving car, and then struck by a semi-trailer truck.

  • U.S. Marshals Service Arrests Times Square Shooting Suspect

    Jacksonville, FL – The suspected gunman wanted in connection with the May 8th Times Square shooting, which left a 4-year-old girl and two others injured, was arrested today by federal, state and local law enforcement agents in Starke.

    Farrakhan Muhammad was taken into custody without incident in a McDonald's restaurant parking lot shortly after noon.

    On Saturday, April 3, a 4-year-old boy was shot to death in a vehicle near the 1000 block of W. Lexington Circle. Later that same day, a warrant was issued for the arrest of Terrell J. Woods for this crime.
