The U.S. Marshals serves as the enforcement arm of the federal courts and is involved in virtually every federal law enforcement initiative.

  • U.S. Marshals Apprehend Florida Murder Suspect in Georgia

    Atlanta, GA - The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force (SERFTF) and Florida/Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force (FCRFTF), in coordination with the West Palm Beach Police Department, on February 23, 2024, located and safely arrested a man wanted by the West Palm Beach Police Department for second-degree murder with a firearm.

    Philadelphia, PA - On February 22nd, at approximately 6:30 p.m., members of the U.S. Marshals Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force, arrested Abiud Torres, 20, in the 1800 block of Hart Lane in Philadelphia. Torres was wanted for the murder of a 35-year-old woman which occurred December 23rd, 2023, in the 3100 block of Hartville Street.

George Smiley, 52, and Deon Hudson-Bey, 21, were both wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for separate homicides and Deshawn Wright, 19, was wanted by the Euclid Police Department for aggravated murder.

    Austin, TX – The U.S. Marshals, working with Mexican officials, coordinated the deportation Feb. 18 of a Travis County resident who was sought by the Austin Police Department following a 2022 shooting incident in which a man was killed. 

  • $5,000 Reward Offered for Tips Leading to the Arrest of Man Charged in Shooting Death of Juvenile in “Fast-Food” Restaurant

    Hampton, VA – On November 22, 2023, Hampton Police responded to the 1000 Block of W. Mercury Boulevard in reference to a shooting in a fast-food restaurant. Upon arrival, Hampton Police located a juvenile male suffering from a single gunshot wound. The juvenile was transported to an area hospital and later pronounced deceased.
