San Juan, PR – The U.S. Marshals Service announced today the extradition of Francisco Alberto Cedeño Amparo, a convicted murderer who escaped custody in Puerto Rico, from the Dominican Republic to serve his 114-year prison sentence.

Dallas, TX – The United States Marshals Service - North Texas Fugitive Task Force (NTFTF) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested Brayan Gonzalez Quirama on September 18, 2025, for his illegal status in the United States of America.

Philadelphia, PA —Members of the U.S. Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force arrested in Pittsburgh tonight a man wanted by the Pennsylvania State Police on charges of murder in relation to a deadly shooting that occurred October 7th, 2023, on I-95 in Upper Chichester, Delaware County.

Philadelphia, PA – Members of the U.S. Marshals Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force transported from Belize a woman wanted on charges of animal cruelty in Bucks County and turned her over to the Newtown Township Police Department around 10:30 p.m. Friday.

Atlanta, GA – The U.S. Marshals in the Northern District of Georgia and FBI Atlanta announced Sept. 19 the results of Operation No Escape, a six-week surge operation in which federal, local and state authorities teamed up to capture 177 fugitives across Georgia. 

Washington, DC – U.S. Marshals, working with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), have recovered a child who was reported missing in Rochester, New York, Sept. 11, 2025. The child was found near Chicago, Illinois in the company of two adult men in the country illegally, announced U.S. Marshals Service Director Gadyaces S. Serralta.

Portland, ME – The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) Maine Violent Offender Task Force (MVOTF) announces the arrest of Marc Assante, 37, on a State of Maine warrant for 7 counts of Gross Sexual Assault, in Hermosillo, Mexico.

Leavenworth, WA – At approximately 2 p.m. Sept. 18 the U.S. Border Patrol’s BORSTAR Human Remains Detection Canine team and USMS Special Operations Group team members located clothing and skeletal remains believed to be that of Travis Decker, the father suspected of kidnapping and murdering his three young daughters in May.

Washington, DC - On Aug. 29, the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) District of Columbia – Superior Court Sex Offender Investigations Squad (DCSC SOIS) secured its 300th conviction for violations of sex offender registration laws. 

The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) Massachusetts Fugitive Task Force has arrested 60 fugitives for charges including homicide, aggravated sex offenses, firearms violations, aggravated assault, narcotics trafficking, kidnapping and robbery during an operation dubbed “Operation No Safe Harbor.” During the operation investigators seized 2.6 kilos of narcotics, a firearm and $6000 in U.S.

Wichita, KS – The U.S. Marshals are seeking the public’s help and offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of a Guatemalan man wanted in Seward County on multiple counts of crimes against children.

East Cleveland, OH – This afternoon, the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) led, Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Verdine Glover, 43. Glover was wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for aggravated murder and felonious assault.

Painesville, OH – Earlier today, The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) led, Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Juan Carlos Munoz, 52, who was wanted by the Ashtabula County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on kidnapping and gross sexual imposition charges. The warrant was issued on January 11, 2002.

San Antonio, TX – The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS), in partnership with the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) and members of the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force (LSFTF), conducted Operation Lightning Bug, a multi-agency initiative targeting crimes against vulnerable youth, from July 28 through August 15.

Cleveland, OH – United States Marshal Pete Elliott announces the successful conclusion of Operation TriDENT in the city of Cleveland. For 30 days, members of the U.S.

New Orleans, LA – The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) New Orleans Task Force sponsored its annual Operation NO Saints and Sinners from May 4 to Aug. 31, and Missing Child Unit (MCU) Operation Fresh Start from May 15 to Aug. 31.

Asheville, NC – A U.S. Marshals Carolinas Regional Fugitive Task Force (CRFTF) and Asheville Police Department (APD) operation conducted from Aug. 1-31 throughout western North Carolina has led to 32 arrests.

Cleveland, OH – Late this afternoon, members of the United States Marshals led Missing Child Unit (MCU) recovered 4 missing children in two separate cases.

New Orleans, LA – Late this morning, members of the United States Marshals Service (USMS) in New Orleans, Louisiana arrested Shawn Brooks, 37.  Brooks has been on the run from law enforcement since 2013.    

In 2013 a warrant was issued for Brooks from the Broward County Sheriff’s Office for 15 counts of sexually related offenses, involving minors.
