U.S. Marshals Service Mission Systems
U.S. Marshals Service Mission Systems are an integral part of daily U.S. Marshals Service field and headquarters law enforcement operations, supporting fugitive investigations, warrant administration, threat management, security of U.S. Marshals Service protectees, and headquarters oversight of district investigations. U.S. Marshals Mission Systems are the main gateway for the U.S. Marshals Service to the National Crime Information Center (NCIC).
The Criminal Intelligence Branch administers the U.S. Marshals Service Mission Systems, providing user support, training, and system and development oversight. The Criminal Intelligence Branch ensures that the 2,500 U.S. Marshals Service management, investigative, and administrative personnel are able to successfully handle over 15,000 transactions per day including 100 new fugitive, warrant or threat record entries. U.S. Marshals Service Mission Systems houses information and images regarding more than 700,000 subjects of U.S. Marshals Service fugitive and protective investigations and it interfaces with the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) and the International Public Safety and Justice Network (Nlets).
