Washington, DC – A U.S. Marshals Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force (CARFTF) Officer was presented the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) Purple Heart Award in a ceremony at USMS Headquarters on March 22, 2024.

Portland, ME – The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS), Maine Violent Offender Task Force (MVOTF) announce the arrest of Jeremiah Abreu, 20, of Brockton, MA.

Cleveland, OH – Yesterday, members of the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested two individuals wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for two separate homicides. The task force arrested a juvenile female in the morning in Cleveland and then Mar’Shawn Johnson, 21, yesterday evening in Huntsville, Alabama.

Cadillac, MI – The Michigan State Police 7th District Fugitive Team and the U.S. Marshals Grand Rapids Fugitive Task Force (GRFTF) arrested Fugitive Malcolm Williams on April 2, 2024.  

New York, NY – The U.S. Marshals (USMS) Southern District of New York (SDNY) Warrant Squad, along with the USMS New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force (NY/NJ RFTF) and the New York Police Department (NYPD), today arrested a man alleged to have been involved in a March 30 Bronx shooting incident that resulted in a 2-year-old boy being shot in the hip.

Martinsburg, WV – The U.S. Marshals Mountain State Fugitive Task Force, working with the Berkley County Sheriff’s Office SWAT, today arrested a Martinsburg man wanted for a November 2023 malicious assault.

A total of 23 people were taken into custody following the return of a 50-count indictment alleging cocaine, fentanyl, heroin, and meth trafficking and related crimes in the Houston and Galveston areas.

The indictment alleges they all operated under the overall control of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG).

Toledo, OH – Today, members of the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Gervens Justilien. Justilien, 31, was wanted by Allen County Sheriff’s Office and the United States Marshals Service for murder of an Allen County woman.

Mason, OH – The U.S. Marshals Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST), U.S Marshals New York New/Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force (NY/NJRFTF), Mason Police Department, and Warren County Sheriff’s Office arrested fugitive Oderi Caldwell this afternoon.

 Columbus, OH – The U.S. Marshals Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) and Franklin County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team arrested fugitive Wayne Romine this morning.  

Columbia, SC – The U.S. Marshals Carolinas Regional Fugitive Task Force (CRFTF), in coordination with the West Columbia Police Department, located and safely arrested on March 22 a man wanted by the West Columbia Police Department (PD) for attempted murder.

Cleveland, OH - The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) is alerting the public of several imposter scams involving individuals claiming to be U.S. Marshals, court officers, or other law enforcement officials. During these calls, scammers attempt to collect a fine in lieu of arrest due to a claim of identity theft, failing to report for jury duty, or other civil process issues.

Akron, OH - Early this morning, members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) and the Akron Police Department arrested Sher Bahadur Bhujel, 28. Bhujel was wanted by the Akron Police Department for rape of a juvenile.

Huntington, WV - The U.S. Marshals Southern District of West Virginia CUFFED Task Force and West Virginia State Police have just concluded a weeklong operation targeting non-complaint sex offenders in Cabell County, as well as surrounding areas. 

Austin, TX – The U.S. Marshals, working with Mexican officials, coordinated the March 21 deportation of a Williamson County resident who was sought by authorities when he failed to appear for trial on an indictment for unlawful possession of a firearm.   

Scranton, PA – The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) Fugitive Task Force of the Middle District of Pennsylvania arrested two murder suspects early Friday morning on March 22, 2024.

Philadelphia, PA - Isaiah Tilghman, 33, who escaped from the Blair County Prison in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, on December 3rd, 2023, has been captured. The Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force in Philadelphia apprehended Tilghman at 11:00 a.m. in the 3300 block of Aramingo Avenue in Philadelphia.

Martinsburg, WV – The U.S. Marshals Mountain State Task Force today arrested Hedgesville man wanted in Berkeley County for malicious or unlawful assault and intimidation of a witness.

Ashton Ruppenthal, 18, was charged March 7 in relation to a Berkeley County case involving the “Get Money by Any Means” gang.

Cleveland, OH – Today, members of the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Kemar Wallace, 38, who was wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for aggravated murder.

Dublin, CA – The U.S. Marshals Service Pacific Southwest Regional Fugitive Task Force (PSWRFTF)in northern California, with assistance from the Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force (GLRFTF) Green Bay and Madison divisions, arrested on March 15 in Waucapa, Wisconsin, a Dixon man wanted on multiple warrants for domestic violence and rape.
