Memphis, TN – Violent fugitives, wanted for crimes from murder to robbery in the city of Memphis, have been arrested as part of the U.S. Marshals’ Operation North Star III (ONS III), which spanned 20 cities over a three-month period.

Kansas City, MO – The U.S. Marshals Service concluded its latest high-impact fugitive apprehension initiative, dubbed Operation North Star III (ONS III). The focus of this 20-city collaborative enforcement initiative resulted in 4,455 fugitive arrests.

Columbus, OH – The U.S. Marshals Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST), assisted by the Ohio State Highway Patrol Special Response Team (SRT), arrested fugitive Quran Boston on September 19, 2023, on an outstanding arrest warrant.

Cleveland, OH – Today, members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Anthony Lewis, 37, and a 17-year-old male. Lewis and the 17-year-old male were both wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for two separate homicides.

Columbus, OH – The U.S. Marshals Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST), Franklin County Sheriff’s Office SWAT, and Springfield Police Division arrested fugitive Jerrel Fleming on September 13, 2023, on an outstanding arrest warrant.

Euclid, OH – Yesterday afternoon, members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Alphonso Jones, 29. Jones was wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for aggravated murder.

Tiptonville, TN – On September 8th, 2023, U.S. Marshals, Lake County Sheriff’s Office, and Tiptonville Police Department captured an Illinois murder fugitive in West Tennessee.

Bridgeport, CT – A murder suspect who fled to Jamaica was extradited back to Bridgeport Thursday to face the charges against her.  

Columbus, OH – The U.S. Marshals Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) and Columbus Division of Police (CPD) located and arrested fugitives Miranda King and Robert Beine early this morning. King and Beine were wanted by the Columbus Division of Police in connection to a murder that occurred on July 8th, 2023.

Hudson, OH – Today, members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Ahmere Morriss, 20, and Samson Peterson, 31, in unrelated cases. Morriss was wanted by the Akron Police Department for aggravated murder, and Peterson was wanted by the Ohio Adult Parole Authority for a parole violation.

Painesville, OH – The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) in conjunction with the Lake and Geauga County Sheriff’s Offices conducted a sex offender compliance operation during the month of August. The operation started on August 1, 2023, and lasted through August 25, 2023.

Toledo, OH – This afternoon, members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Byron Jovel-Barquero, 20. Jovel-Barquero was wanted by the Long Branch City Police Department, located in Monmouth County New Jersey, for aggravated assault.

Albuquerque, NM – The U.S. Marshals District of New Mexico Southwest Fugitive Team (USMS-SWIFT) developed information on September 4, 2023, resulting in the arrest of a man in Albuquerque for Illegal Entry. Ivan Gustavo Hernandez-Cabra is wanted out of Mexico for his involvement in the ambush and massacre of 9 Americans in Sonora, Mexico

Austin, TX – Members of the U.S. Marshals-led Lone Star Fugitive Task Force Thursday evening arrested a man sought by Leander Police for an accident involving personal injury or death that occurred on Aug 26.

Washington, D.C. - The U.S. Marshals, along with West Virginia State Police, Lewisburg Police Department and Greenbrier County Sheriff’s Office, this afternoon arrested at the Quality Inn in Lewisburg, West Virginia, a man who escaped from an Arkansas prison facility in 2022.

Concord, NH – The New Hampshire State Police has successfully arrested an armed and dangerous white supremacist hiding on Kearsarge Valley Road in Wilmot, NH. Wanted on a parole warrant, Christopher Palermo, 47, of Danbury, NH may now be facing sex offender registration violation and firearms charges.

Lima, OH – Earlier this morning, members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) along with the West Central Ohio Crime Task Force arrested Alyssa Jewel Stewart, 19.  Stewart was wanted by the Andalusia Police Department, located in Alabama, for murder.
