For immediate release

East Liverpool, OH – Early this morning, members of the U.S. Marshals led Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) along with the Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office arrested Curtis Holland, 29, and Travis Kidder, 25.  Both were wanted by the Columbiana County Sheriff’s Officer for aggravated murder, murder, both with firearms specifications.

Both Holland and Kidder were wanted in connection with the July 15, 2021, shooting death of Brycen Douglas, 20. The victim was found shot to death on the front porch of a home on Pennsylvania Ave. in East Liverpool.  Warrants for both suspects were issued yesterday.

The NOVFTF immediately began looking for both suspects and early today they were taken into custody without incident.  Holland was arrested at a home in the 800 block of Hollywood Ave. in East Liverpool, and Kidder was arrested at a home in the 1000 block of Bradshaw Ave., also in East Liverpool.  Both suspects were booked into the Columbiana County jail.

In addition to these two suspects being arrested by the NOVFTF, Allen Tisdale, one of two more co-defendants, was also previously arrested by the NOVFTF in Campbell in January 2023.

U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott stated, “Dedicated work by local detectives guarantees that no one wanted in connection to this terrible crime will go unpunished.  The NOVFTF worked quickly to ensure that these violent suspects were quickly taken off the streets once identified.”
