Harrisburg, PA – Today, U.S. Marshal Martin J. Pane announced the arrest of Nathanael Arroyo – a 19-year old man with past addresses in Carlisle.
On January 30, 2020, the Mount Holly Springs Police Department investigated a home invasion robbery in which a victim was stabbed with a knife and threatened with a handgun. As a result of their investigation, officers obtained an arrest warrant charging Arroyo with Robbery, Burglary, Aggravated Assault and lesser included offenses. Javier Sabdiel Santos – a 20-year old Mechanicsburg man – was also charged in the same robbery. Attempts to find Arroyo and Santos were unsuccessful and the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) Fugitive Task Force was asked to locate them.
On March 27th, the task force arrested Santos without incident in the 400 block of Silver Springs Road, Mechanicsburg.
The investigation to apprehend Arroyo led the Fugitive Task Force to the Bronx, New York. And, today at about 5:30 a.m., task force members arrested him without incident in the 1400 block of Bronx River Avenue. He was returned to Pennsylvania and turned over to the Mount Holly Springs Police Department.
"We place a high priority on fugitive cases in which the use or threat of violence against innocent victims occurs," said U.S. Marshal Martin J. Pane. "We will continue to work with our partners in the law enforcement community to ensure our communities throughout Pennsylvania are more secure."
