Fugitive of the Week Located in Massachusetts Jail

Concord, NH – Yesterday's featured "Fugitive of the Week," Donald Scott Fraize, Jr., 32 years-of-age, was located in-custody at the Essex County Jail in Massachusetts. Mr. Fraize was being sought on two outstanding arrest warrants. The first was issued by the Rockingham County Superior Court for failing to appear on narcotics charges and two counts of assault. The second warrant was issued by the Manchester Police Department alleging the offense of robbery.

Fraize had been featured as the "Fugitive of the Week" just yesterday, July 15, 2020. This feature was aired on WTPL-FM, WMUR-TV, The Union Leader, The Nashua Telegraph, The Patch, Foster's Daily Democrat, Manchester Information, the Manchester Ink Link, the Rochester Voice and prominently featured on the internet. The "Fugitive of the Week" continues to be a very successful tool that has resulted in the location and arrest of numerous fugitives since its implementation in 2007. Additionally, the "Fugitive of the Week" is distributed statewide to all New Hampshire law enforcement officers.

A short time after Fraize had been featured as the "Fugitive of the Week," multiple phone calls from family members were received. These callers stated that Fraize was in jail at the Essex County Jail in Massachusetts. The New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force was able to confirm that Fraize was in fact in custody. This information was relayed to the Rockingham County Sheriff's Office and they have filed paperwork with the Essex County Jail requesting that Mr. Fraize be sent back to NH upon the completion of his criminal matters in Massachusetts.

Since the inception of the New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force in 2002, these partnerships have resulted in over 7,908 arrests (Updated as of 12/16/2019). These arrests have ranged in seriousness from murder, assault, unregistered sex offenders, probation and parole violations and numerous other serious offenses. Nationally the United States Marshals Service fugitive programs are carried out with local law enforcement in 94 district offices, 85 local fugitive task forces, 8 regional task forces, as well as a growing network of offices in foreign countries.
