The U.S. Marshals serves as the enforcement arm of the federal courts and is involved in virtually every federal law enforcement initiative.

  • Woman Wanted in Connection With Akron Homicide Arrested in Mexico

    Akron, OH – This morning, the United States Marshals Service in collaboration with Mexican authorities arrested Leslie Lopez, 26. Lopez was wanted by Summit County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear for aggravated murder.

    Akron, OH– This morning, members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) located and arrested Desean Williamson, 23, and Teion Thompson, 21. Both were wanted by the Akron Police Department. Williamson was wanted for murder and Thompson was wanted for complicity to commit murder and obstructing justice.

  • Tennessee Man Wanted for Rape of a Child Captured by U.S. Marshals in Kentucky

    Carroll County, TN – Damian Daniel Campos, 20, who was wanted by the Carroll County, Tennessee Sheriff’s Office for multiple counts of Rape of a Child and Aggravated Sexual Battery was captured yesterday in Kentucky after a joint investigation by U.S. Marshals in Western Tennessee and Kentucky.

  • U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and Memphis Police Department Capture Pennsylvania Homicide Fugitive

    Memphis, TN – Jerbrell Westmoreland, 30, has been captured in Memphis by the U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force (TRVFTF) and Memphis Police Department. Westmoreland was wanted out of Pennsylvania for Homicide, Conspiracy to Commit Homicide and Attempted Criminal Homicide.

  • San Antonio Capital Murder Suspect Arrested by U.S. Marshals

    Del Rio, TX – Members of the U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force and officials with Customs and Border Protection, arrested a Bexar County capital murder suspect in Eagle Pass on March 4th. Isaac Estrada, 26, is accused of brutally stabbing Courtney Phillipson on April 5, 2015. Phillipson, a single mother, was survived by her young child.

  • Canton Man Accused in Columbus Strip Club Shooting Arrested by U.S. Marshals

    La Crosse, WI – Members of the U.S. Marshals Service’s Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force captured a fugitive Feb. 16 near the 800 block of Cass Street.

    Jerel Jenkins, 28, was wanted on a federal warrant for felon in possession of a firearm as well as several other local warrants for larceny, narcotics possession, resisting and obstruction, and more.

  • New Orleans Double Murder Suspect Captured by U.S. Marshals in Memphis

    Memphis, TN – Michael Harris, 33, of Louisiana, who was wanted by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office for two counts of first-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, was captured by U.S. Marshals in Memphis yesterday. Tyreece Miller, U.S. Marshal for the Western District of Tennessee, announcement today.
