  • Fugitive New Hampshire Parolee Arrested in Texas by U.S. Marshals

    Philadelphia, PA – Members of the U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force arrested Felix Aldencis Peguero Mendez, 61, for homicide and related charges, at approximately 3:30 p.m. on February 13th in the 600 block of East Lancaster Avenue in Reading Pennsylvania. Peguero Mendez was wanted in the Dominican Republic for homicide since February 15, 2012.

    Hamburg, IA – U.S. Marshals have arrested a Muscatine man on an attempted murder warrant in connection with a deadly assault at a grain elevator in Hamburg in October.

  • U.S. Marshals, Law Enforcement Partners Conduct Operation Triple Beam in Southern Florida to Reduce Violent Crime

    Miami, FL – Operation Triple Beam, a U.S. Marshals-led 30-day operation to reduce gang and violent crime, concluded January 31, and resulted in 150 arrests.

    In addition to the arrests, law enforcement officers seized 45 firearms, more than 6 kilograms of narcotics, and more than $38,000 in cash.

    Indianapolis, IN – Melody Bannister, 34, of Stafford was arrested in Plainfield, IN at approximately 2:30 a.m. at a Speedway Gas Station off of Interstate I-70 and State Road IN-267 for one count of Parental Kidnapping of a Minor and four counts of Abduction by Parent.

    Norfolk, VA – A multi-agency fugitive investigation spanning several states for a well-known Bloods gang leader from Parksley, Virginia, came to an end yesterday afternoon. Tyvon "Teddy" Lyncurtis Smith was arrested in Pocomoke City, Maryland after four weeks on the run.

  • U.S. Marshals Offer $5k Reward for Information Leading to Capture of Fugitive Triple Shooter

    Detroit, MI – The U.S. Marshals Service Detroit Fugitive Apprehension Team, in conjunction with the River Rouge Police Department, are offering a reward of $5,000 for information directly leading to the arrest of suspect involved in a triple shooting January 31 in River Rouge, which left two dead and one critically injured.

  • U.S. Marshals 15 Most Wanted Fugitive Accused of Murdering Mother of His Children Arrested in Jamaica

    Washington, DC - The manhunt for one of the U.S. Marshals' 15 Most Wanted fugitives ended Sunday, Feb. 2, after the accused murderer was found and arrested in Jamaica.

    Leroy Headley, 38, is wanted by the South Burlington Police Department in Vermont for the May 2018 murder of Anako Lumumba, the mother of his two children.

  • U.S. Marshals Holding Bitcoin Auction

    Washington, D.C. – The U.S. Marshals are auctioning approximately 4,040 bitcoins in connection with various federal criminal, civil and administrative cases.

    To register, potential bidders must complete all registration requirements by Feb. 12. A $200,000 deposit is required to participate. Deposits will be returned to non-winning bidders.

    Concord, NH – Earlier this morning, Robert Ruggiero, 26 years-of-age, was arrested at Complete Labor in Manchester, NH. Mr. Ruggiero was being sought on a U.S. District Court, District of New Hampshire, Warrant for a supervised release violation. Ruggiero was being supervised as a result of being found guilty and sentenced in connection with a bank robbery offense.

  • U.S. Marshals Arrest Man Accused of Faking Suicide to Avoid Jail for Child Rape

    Washington, D.C. – The search for 15 Most Wanted fugitive Jacob Blair Scott ended less than 24 hours after he was added to the U.S. Marshals' most wanted list. The Mississippi man was located and arrested in a mobile home park* in Antlers, Oklahoma, around midnight Wednesday.

  • Fugitive of the Week From January 15 Arrested After Foot Chase

    Concord, NH – Late yesterday, Travis Truell, 35 years-of-age, was arrested in the 200 block of Lake Street in Manchester, New Hampshire after a brief foot chase. Mr. Truell was being sought on a State of New Hampshire Parole Warrant. Truell was on parole as a result of being found guilty and sentenced in connection with an armed robbery offense.

  • Man Wanted in Alabama Found Hiding in Cleveland

    Cleveland, OH – Late this evening members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Frederick Hampton, 50. Hampton was wanted by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office in Birmingham, Alabama for sex offender registration violations and abuse of a corpse.

  • Raleigh Man Convicted for Heroin Overdose Death

    Raleigh, NC – The U.S. Marshals Service and the U.S. Attorney's Office announce the successful prosecution of a Raleigh man for Distribution of Heroin and Fentanyl Resulting in Death, Conspiracy to Distribute and Posses with the Intent to Distribute one Kilogram or more of Heroin. Jason McNeil, 28, was found guilty following a four-day jury trial in U.S. District Court.
