U.S. Marshals' Biographies

Dr. Jurgen R. Soekhoe was sworn in as the acting United States Marshal (USM) for the District of Columbia on March 3rd, 2026.

Robert Anthony Dixon, aka Tony, was appointed to serve as the fifth U.S. Marshal for the United States Marshals Service for the Superior Court of the District of Columbia on December 5, 2019. He began his more than 35 year law enforcement career as a Criminal Investigator with the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL).

On June 1, 2026, pursuant to the Federal Vacancies Reform Act, Greg Leljedal assumed the role of Acting United States Marshal for the Northern District of Florida.

The Honorable Priscilla Perez Lopez was sworn in as the United States Marshal for the Southern District of Florida on June 3, 2026, following her confirmation by the United States Senate.

William B. Berger was sworn in as the United States Marshal of the Middle District of Florida on February 7, 2011. The District is comprised of five offices located in Tampa, Jacksonville, Ocala, Orlando, and Ft. Myers.

Joseph Chapman is the Acting United States Marshal for the Middle District of Georgia, sworn in on March 10, 2026, following his designation by former Attorney General Pam Bondi.

Stephen G. Serrao was designated as the acting U.S. Marshal for the Northern District of Georgia on March 10, 2026 by United States Attorney General Pam Bondi.

Thomas J. Kilbride was sworn in as the Acting United States Marshal for the Southern District of Georgia on August 3, 2026, following his designation by the Acting Attorney General of the United States.

Fernando Leon Guerrero Sablan serves as the United States Marshal for the District of Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands. Fernando Sablan began his law enforcement career with the Guam Police Department where he worked for 22 years, rising through the ranks until he retired as a Major.

As Marshal, Bunn is responsible for U.S. Marshals Service operations in the District's 44 counties, encompassing over 83,000 square miles of land. He is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the District’s three offices, located in Boise, Coeur d'Alene and Pocatello.

The Honorable David C. Davis was nominated by President Joseph R. Biden, Jr., confirmed by the United States Senate, and appointed on January 3, 2023, to serve as the United States Marshal (USM) for the Southern District of Illinois.

Justin M. Hamrock was sworn in as the Acting United States Marshal for the Central District of Illinois (C/IL) on May 21, 2026, following his designation by the Attorney General of the United States.

Acting United States Marshal Hamrock oversees all United States Marshals Service (USMS) operations in the C/IL, including federal judicial security, court security, fugitive investigations and apprehension, sex offender and missing child investigations, prisoner operations, asset forfeiture, and service of process.
